Several killed in K'taka road mishap

At least 11 people were killed and seven others seriously injured on Tuesday when an ambulance in which they were travelling crashed into a loaded truck near Dadesogur area here, police said.

Eighteen persons were in the ambulance and those killed included two women and four children, they said.

The victims, who were were bringing back the body of a relative who had died on Monday at a Bangalore hospital, were on way to their native Hathikuni village when the mishap occurred, police said.
