Sharif to PM: Pehle aap
PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif on Monday said he will invite Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to Pakistan for his oath-taking ceremony as the new Premier.
Mr Sharif invited Dr Singh to Pakistan on Monday, Express News reported adding he said he would also invite Dr Singh to his oath-taking ceremony. Mr Sharif has already indicated his desire to normalise “roller-coaster” ties with India.
Dr Singh had on Monday lost no time in congratulating Mr Sharif on his election victory, which will give him his third term as Prime Minister of Pakistan, and invited him to visit India at a mutually convenient time.
[On Monday, Mr Sharif said he would try to resolve all issues with India during his term in office, reports our Pakistan correspondent. “Pakistan and India should resolve all issues through dialogue. I will make sure we do it,” Mr Sharif said. The PML-N chief said jokingly that he would go to India even if he wasn’t invited.

During the campaign, 63-year-old Mr Sharif had vowed to revive the Indo-Pak peace process.
