Shiv Sena-BJP combine hopeful of tilting power in Maha
The Opposition combine of Shiv Sena and BJP on Tuesday said that its joint rally with RPI (A) on June 9 will sow seeds of change of power in Maharashtra.
Addressing a press conference here, BJP general secretary Vinod Tawde and Shiv Sena spokesperson Neelam Gorhe said all preparations for the rally, to be held at Azad Maidan in south Mumbai, were completed and the saffron combine was expecting a mammoth turnout irrespective of rains.
Tawde said that besides political, social equations are also set to change in Maharashtra after the rally adding that the congregation was part of the mass movement against corruption which is going on nationwide.
The Congress is trying to crush the social movement as it did in the case of Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and now denying permission to Anna Hazare from going ahead with his token fast.
RPI leader Arjun Dangale said that the alliance of Shiv Sena, BJP and RPI (A) is receiving positive feedback from all over the state.
