Mumbai: Columnist Shobhaa De was on Wednesday the target of saffron ire over her comments on making Mumbai a separate state.
"Maharashtra and Mumbai? Why not? Mumbai has always fancied itself as an independent entity, anyway. This game has countless possibilities," De had tweeted.
Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Samiti(MNS) hit back at De. The writer had made comments after the Congress Working Committee and UPA okayed separate Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.
