Six arrested with 65 kg hashish

Six persons were arrested in the national capital allegedly with 65 kg of hashish worth around Rs 32.5 lakh in the international market, sources said on Monday.

A team of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) intercepted a vehicle in Peeragarhi on Sunday following which the seizure was made, they said.

The arrested included two receivers hailing from Haryana.

"They were coming from Nepal and were arrested on a tip off. They had concealed the contraband under seat cover," a senior official said.
