Sohrab, Ishrat dubbed LeT terrorists

It was revealed that Sohrabuddin was labelled a LeT operative on a mission to kill Gujarat chief Minister Narendra Modi. Ishrat Jahan and her three friends Javed Ghulam Sheikh, alias Pranesh Kumar Pillai, Amjad Ali Akbar Ali Rana, alias Rajkumar and Jisan Johar Abdul Gani, alias Janbaaz, were also dubbed dreaded terrorists on a mission to kill chief minister Modi.

Super cop and encounter specialist Vanzara was the one who “discovered” both Sohrabuddin and Ishrat Jahan and interestingly he kept Ishrat Jahan and Kauserbi in the same farm house.
In his 252 page hand written report, Ahmedabad metropolitan magistrate S.P. Tamang had ruled that June 2004 killing of Ishrat Jahan was a fake encounter and had accused Vanzara of cold-blood murder to get public recognition, promotion and appreciation from the chief minister.
Ishrat Jahan and three others were reportedly picked up from Mumbai on June 12, 2004. They were kept at Arham farm house on June 13 and 14. Early on June 15, they were reportedly identified as dreaded terrorists on a mission to kill Mr Modi and killed near Sardarnagar-Kotarpur area in Ahmedabad. In Sohrabuddin’s case, he and his wife were kept at Disha farm house. After Sohrabuddin was killed in fake encounter on November 26, 2005, Kauser Bi was kept at Arhan farm house. She was killed by the police on the night of November 28 and her body was taken to Illol in North Gujarat where it was burnt.
