Somali held at Bihar-Nepal border
A man of Somali origin claiming to be a German citizen and another from Hyderabad were detained and questioned by intelligence and police officials on the India-Nepal border in Bihar on Saturday in connection with their suspected links to the Hyderabad blasts.
A video camera with photographs and video footage of Secunderabad railway station was found in the possession of the two men as they tried to sneak into Nepal together immediately after having travelled from Hyderabad, said police officials. The two were held by intelligence officials at the immigration checkpost at Raxaul on Friday night as they were trying to cross the border on foot secretively. Mohammad Abdul-lah Oman, 25, is a Somali who, according to reliable sources, claimed during interrogation that he was granted German citizenship after some time as a refugee in the European nation.
