Sonia’s 1st public meet after op to be in u’khand

After the surgery, a first public meeting Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to address will be in the BJP ruled Uttarakhand on November 9. The state is going to polls early next year.

Mrs Gandhi will address a meeting at Gochar in Chamoli district after laying foundation of a railway line, said the Uttarakhand PCC chief Yashpal Arya.
Though the state Congress has no idea about issues she will raise in the meeting, the party is satisfied about raising corruption issue successfully and thereby compelled the ruling BJP to change the chief minister.
The Congress chief is expected to take on the BJP which has been backing the Anna Hazare’s agitation against the Centre and the Congress party and may comment on Mr L.K. Advani’s current “yatra” across the country against corruption and black money.
