SP will be single biggest party in UP, feels Varun

Varun Gandhi, BJP Lok Sabha MP from Pilibhit, predicts the Samajwadi Party will emerge as the single largest party in the UP Assembly elections, where two phases of voting are yet to be over.
In a jibe at his own party, Varun said the BJP had “55 chief ministerial candidates”, and that he didn’t think the results would be “super magnificent” for the BJP. But he also said the Congress and the BJP would both improve their tallies at the ruling BSP’s cost.
A BJP spokesman said Varun was a “good psephologist”. “He has his own predictions. (These) are not as a BJP leader, but as a psephologist,” the spokesman added. Senior leader L.K. Advani refused to comment.
