Sri Sri: I’ve forgiven my attacker
Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar said he has forgiven the man who shot at his convoy.
“I have forgiven him. He may come and join the satsang and get peace of mind.” A day after the firing, Sri Sri said he was not troubled by the incident.
“I have already forgiven him, whoever he is. I have never scolded anyone in my entire life. The ashram management does not screen the visitors. If the shooter comes and attends satsang for two days, he can transform into a peace loving person. The ashram has been taking up projects to chant the peace mantra,” Sri Sri said.
The Sri Sri recalled that an inmate, who had also worked as his driver for a while, had foreseen such an attack. A close disciple said driver Prashanth had told everyone that he had a dream in which he saw a man firing at Sri Sri at close range and an inmate getting inured.
“I believe in the existence of Ishwar. The driver had told all of us what he had dreamt. He saw the dream sometime ago, but it has now come true,’’ AoL administrative officer Narendra Lamba said.
