Srini will attend ICC meet
Self-exiled BCCI president N. Srinivasan is set to emerge from his break from cricket administration.
He will be attending the International Cricket Council’s annual conference in London from June 24 to 28 and to do which he will be making an exception to his own decision to “step aside” from his duties as the BCCI president until a probe into his son-in-law’s involvement in IPL betting runs its course.
Sources close to Mr Srinivasan aver that his decision to be at the ICC meeting in London was taken only at the instance of several senior board members who want him to be at the annual meet when important matters come up for discussion.

Terror threat to Amarnath Yatra: Shinde
Age Correspondent
New Delhi, June 19
New intelligence inputs suggest the Amarnath Yatra is facing a terror threat, while Union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde said the government was putting in place adequate security measures.
Speaking to the media, Mr Shinde confirmed there was a terror threat to this year’s two-month-long yatra that is scheduled to begin on June 28.
The home minister said additional forces were being deployed to provide foolproof security for yatris. “All efforts will be made to ensure the safety of every pilgrim”, Mr Shinde said.
Earlier Monday, Northern Command GOC-in-C Lt. Gen. K.T. Parnaik had also said the Army had got inputs that terrorists might try to disrupt the yatra. “Intelligence inputs we are receiving suggest they (terrorists) have intentions to disrupt the yatra”, Gen. Parnaik said.
The Jammu and Kashmir government also said the entire Amarnath Yatra route in the state was “highly prone” to terror strikes.
