State failed in busting YSRC nexus, says Telugu Desam
Hyderabad: The Telugu Desam has sought action against criminals connected to the YSR Congress. The TD accused the government of taking a lenient view of the criminals identified with the YSRC.
“The YSRC has become a breeding ground for criminals. Yet the government is not taking action,” TD MLA Revanth Reddy said.
Reddy said that in the Rajahmundry bank heist the accused Sridhar Reddy allegedly spent Rs 2.20 crore on YSRC programmes including the padayatra of Sharmila. Similarly, a lady Naga Malleswari of Vizag who is associated with the YSRC was caught in a fake currency racket, he said.
“We will also expose former Kakinada MLA and YSR Congress leader Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy who has made millions in a short time. The government should come down heavily on such criminals,” he said.
On Sharmila’s claim that Jagan was innocent, Reddy said if that was true why have the courts denied him bail till date.
