Sunni Wakf Board to move Supreme Court

The UP Sunni Central Wakf Board, one of the litigants to the Ayodhya title suit, has said it will appeal the verdict in the Supreme Court.

Jilani of the Board says they are partly disappointed.

The UP Sunni Central Wakf Board says the suit has been dismissed by two-to-one majority with Justice Aggarwal and Justice Sharma in seperate orders rejecting their suits. Justice Khan though agreed that where the idols of Lord Ram is placed should go to the Hindus but proposed division of disputed land in three parts, giving one-third to Hindus, one third to Muslims and one third to oldest litigant, the Nirmohi Akhara.
