Congress president Kantilal Bhuria has demanded that both these leaders should immediately step down. Addressing a press conference at the Congress headquarters here, chief spokesman of state Congress Manak Agrawal gave a detailed account of the incident and said that a girl, dressed as “Bharat Mata (Mother India),” had kept holding the national flag upside down at a function organised on behalf of the cm to honour Ms Swaraj at Nasrullaganj on March 31, 2010.
The BJP leaders did not intervene even when the issue was brought to their notice, Mr Agrawal said adding that Dwarka Jat, a Nasrullaganj resident had lodged the complaint in a local court after he failed to file an FIR in this matter.
