Suspected ISI agent arrested in Mumbai
A suspected agent of Pakistan's spy agency ISI has been arrested in the metropolis, police sources said on Saturday. Salim Moojiwala is believed to have conducted a recce of several locations in the financial capital, they said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) apprehended him from Mazgaon in South Mumbai on Thursday, the sources said. The police later conducted a search at his residence in Mazgaon and recovered incriminating documents, cellphone SIM cards, DVDs, computer, hard disk and pen drives. The seized items were sent to a forensic lab at suburban Kalina for examination, they said.
The sources did not reveal which locations were surveyed by the ISI agent, saying "they do not want to say anything further on Moojiwala as the State Assembly session was currently on in Nagpur". Joint commissioner of police (Crime) Himanshu Roy declined to comment on the arrest
