Swami met sadhvi at Nashik hospital
Inputs with the Central intelligence agencies reveal that Swami Asimanand, a suspect in the Malegaon and Ajmer blasts, reportedly met Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, another suspect, in a hospital in Nashik when she was admitted.
Sources in the agency revealed that the sadhvi was recently admitted to a hospital in Nashik when her condition suddenly started deteriorating in the jail. Available inputs indicate that Swami Asimanad met her at the hospital. Sources said that the agencies are investigating the matter.
“After meeting sadhvi, Asimanand went to Dang district in Gujarat through Nandurbar and Surat. Reports now coming in confirm that Swami Asimanand is hiding in tribal areas around Dang district of Gujarat. Agencies investigating Ajmer and Malegaon blast cases are in touch with the Gujarat police in this connection,” sources added.
Sources further said, “Central agencies are also in touch with the Karnataka police as unconfirmed reports suggest that swami might have taken shelter there also.”
Swami Asimanand ran an ashram in the Dang tribal region of Gujarat and has emerged as the prime suspect in the 2007 Ajmer blast too.
Sources revealed that Asimanand, along with Sunil Joshi, who was murdered after the Ajmer blast, masterminded both the Malegaon and Ajmer blasts.
