Deceased Rakesh Kumar, a Hindi teacher in Ramjas Public School in Sonipat, was hit by a car driven by two youth — Vikram and Hari Om — while he was returning from school on Friday. Rakesh was admitted to a private hospital in Delhi where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
According to the police, Rakesh was on his way back on his motorcycle when the two youth stopped him and ran their car over him. The police has registered a case of murder.
One of the accused Vikram has been arrested by the police on Monday while Hari Om is still absconding. The victim has given a statement before his death and identified the accused.
It is worth mentioning that Haryana is notorious for copying and it has failed to check the menace of cheating. In recently concluded Class 10 and Class 12 examinations more than 2,000 students were booked for using unfair means.
