Teenage boy, girlfriend end life in Bhopal

Apparently upset over disapproval by their family members to their relationship, a teenager boy and a girl committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at Subhash Nagar area, police said today.

Jeet Yadav (15) and Ayushi Gupta (15), both students of a local school, were walking along the railway track at Subhash Nagar on Tuesday night and when Narmada Express was passing by they jumped before it, they said, adding their mingled bodies were found only yesterday.

According to police, the driver of the train applied emergency brakes but it could not be stopped in time. The deceased were said to be in a relationship and might have decided to end their lives as their parents did not approve of it, they said.
