Telangana slogans rent air after declaration

Karimangar: Telangana supporters and activists and leaders of different parties including Congress celebrated the UPA government’s announcement of its decision in favour of formation of separate Telangana state on Tuesday.
They celebrated the announcement by distributing sweets and bursting crackers at various places in Adilabad district.
The leaders raised slogans in favour of the Congress and thanked the party high command for taking the decision. People came out of their houses and exchanged greetings as soon Congress Working Committee meet approved formation of T state.
In Karimnagar, activists and leaders of all parties, including TRS, Congress, BJP and the TD, celebrated the announcement. People glued to their TVs before the announcement.
