Three missing in Bihar boat capsize

Three persons went missing on Tuesday when a countryboat carrying around 12 persons sank in the Kosi river near Ghonghepur village in Mahishi police station of Bihar's Saharsa district.

The boat was sailing to Telwa village from Ghonghepur when it sank mid-stream, Sub-Divisional Officer Rajesh Kumar said.

While three persons were missing, other swam to safety, he said.

Local divers were engaged to locate the missing persons, Kumar said.
