TN vigilance wing raids ex-dmk minister
The Tamil Nadu vigilance and anti-corruption wing conducted raids at the residences and offices of former DMK minister N. Suresh Rajan for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his sources of income.
The raids, which started at 6 am on Saturday simultaneously at the former minister’s residence at Ramapuram and his office at Nagercoil, continued till evening. The residences of Suresh Rajan’s sister Uma, his father-in-law Duraisamy and his sister-in-law Priya also came under the scanner of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption. The police also seized documents from the fishnet company run by the former tourism minister in the name of his daughter at Asaripallam.
