Top 6 OC men on ED notice
New Delhi, Oct. 20: The Enforcement Directorate has reportedly issued notices to six top officials of the Organising Committee (OC) of the Commonwealth Games in connection with various alleged corruption cases related to the CWG. The CBI is also expected to register preliminary enquiries (PEs) against certain officials of the OC, as well as contractors engaged in Games projects. Some of them have already been booked in other cases by the agency in the past.
According to sources, ED has also sent questionnaires to some of the members of the OC related to certain projects involving foreign players and has sought their reply. It is reliably learnt that the ED may start questioning of some of the OC members who have been served notices in a day or two.
