Train runs for four kilometres without driver in Bihar
An unmanned train started moving from Rajgir station in Bihar on Saturday, before officials managed to chase the train and pull the brake.
According to reports, the Shramjeevi Express which was in the parking bay after arriving from Delhi, suddenly began moving on the tracks.
Noticing the abberation, the station master alerted other trains approaching to the staion on the same track to stop.
Officials and another train driver then chased the train for almost four kilometres. As the train was moving relatively slowly, they managed to jump into the cabin and pull the brake.
An inquiry on Sunday revealed that the train's braking system had failed. Authorities suspended two train drivers and supervisors for not checking the technical glitch properly.
