Two dead at Dr Reddy's labs, authorities investigating

Bangalore: India's Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd said on Wednesday that authorities were investigating the deaths of an employee and a contractor working at its drug-making unit in the Bolarum area of Hyderabad.

No one else was injured, the company said in a statement, adding it would give further details on completion of the investigation.

Shares, meanwhile, of India's second-largest drug maker by sales, which fell more than four percent, recouped some losses to trade 0.7 per cent lower at 1,676 rupees in a firm Mumbai market.
