Two die of sunstroke in Maharashtra
With mercury soaring each passing day, two farm labours have died of sun stroke in Ner tehsil of the district in the last 48 hours, sources said.
In records of Ner police station, however, deaths of farm workers Madhukar Dattaji Chavat (55), a resident of Ajanti village and Rajendra Gunaji Shebe (40) of Pimpri Kalga village of Ner tehsil were registered as 'accidental' deaths.
The mercury continues to fluctuate in range of 39 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius during the last couple of days and the residents of the district are preferring to remain at home during the day.
