Two minors rape six-year-old in Guntur
Guntur: A six-year-old-girl was allegedly raped by two minor boys in Bethapudi village in the district on Monday. The incident came to light on Tuesday midnight, when the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at the Vedullapalli police station. Police said on Monday evening, the two accused, 12-year-old and 13-year-old boys, eyed the girl while she was playing at her school in the village. They took her to a secluded place nearby and allegedly raped her.

After returning home, when the victim complained of severe stomach ache, her mother took her to a private hospital in Chirala town for treatment. It was there that the girl revealed what had happened. On the advice of the doctor, the girl’s mother lodged a complaint with the police.The victim was sent to the government hospital in Chirala for a medical examination. Bapatla CI K. Mallikharjuna Rao said the cops have booked a case under the Anti-rape Act and have taken the duo into custody.
