Two Simi members arrested

Two suspected members of the banned outfit Simi have been arrested ahead of the Rath Yatra here, police said on Monday.

One Hasim Raza and Abu Siddiqui were arrested by the Crime Branch officials on Sunday night from the Prem Darwaja area of the city, they said.

According to the officials, a revolver was found in their possession which has been seized.

The accused are being interrogated to find the motive behind their presence in the city prior to the 133rd Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, which is scheduled on Tuesday.
