Two wanted in Joshi murder case absconding
Investigations by the Madhya Pradesh police, prior to filing of chargesheet into RSS pracharark Sunil Joshi’s murder case, have reached a roadblock as two of those wanted in this case are absconding and the police is clueless about their whereabouts.
Joshi was murdered, allegedly by his own associates, at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh in December 2007. His name figures among the accused in the Ajmer blast case.
When asked to comment on a news report which quotes Joshi’s niece Chanchal Joshi pointing out that Pragya Singh Thakur, who is an accused in the Malegaon blast case, had visited Joshi’s house and taken away a briefcase a night after the murder, Dewas police inspector Vinod Kushwaha, who is handling the murder case, told this newspaper on Monday that he cannot comment on a report, which he has not read. He also said that their task at hand is to arrest Mahesh Masat and Rinku.
