UDF to win in Kerala?
Kerala exit polls are pointing at a Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) win - with a 72 to 82 seats margin.
A post poll survey by Asianet TV and Centre for Forecasting & Research (C-fore) suggests that UDF will post a one per cent rise in their share of votes to win 44 per cent, while LDF will lose six per cent of their votes to end up at 43 per cent.
According to the survey, BJP might see a five per cent rise in their share of votes and might end up winning two seats in Kerala.
The survey also said that, though majority voted for UDF, they wanted to retain V.S. Achuthanandan as the Chief Minister. He won 40 per cent votes in the survey while Oommen Chandy got 37 per cent and Ramesh Chennithala got 18 per cent backing
UDF is expected to win more seats from southern and mid-Kerala regions, as per the survey.
