Union minister Vilasrao Deshmukh passes away

Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh passed away in Chennai, said sources.

Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra was suffering from serious liver and kidney ailments.

The 67-year-old Deshmukh had shown signs of improvement and been on and off the ventilator, said sources.

Deshmukh was brought here from Mumbai in an air ambulance in a critical condition.
