US man with live cartridge is held at IGI

The CISF on Wednesday arrested a 56-year-old American national at the Indira Gandhi International Airport for allegedly carrying a live cartridge in his baggage. Police officers said Daniel Jon Starks, CEO of an American firm making cardiac equipment, was held at the baggage check. He was on his way to Dharamsala on a chartered

flight when the cartridge was found in his hand luggage, a police official said.
He was able to produce an American arms licence, but this was found to be invalid.
