Veteran journalist dead
Veteran journalist K.V. Ramakrishnan, who had worked with PTI in various capacities including as its London correspondent in the 1960s, died here on Friday.
Ramakrishnan, who would have turned 96 this July, retired from PTI in 1975, is survived by three sons, including K.R. Sudhaman, a senior journalist, and a daughter.
Ramakrishnan had initially joined the Associated Press of India before independence and PTI's formation and had covered the Constituent Assembly proceedings.
