Victims recall the horror
Hyderabad:Â âYasin Bhatkal may have been arrested, but will I get back my leg or will scores of people get back their loved ones,â questioned 23-year-old MBA student V. Rajitha, who lost her right leg in the twin blasts in Dilsukhnagar.
The suspected mastermind of Dilsukhnagar blasts, Yasin Bhatkal, has been arrested, but those who lost their loved ones and livelihood in the blasts are still angry at what happened.
Narsing Rao, owner of Vani Bags, located just behind the Dilsukhnagar bus stand, that was destroyed in the blast says he is still unable to forget the scene. âPeopleâs screams still ring in my ears. Even financially I am badly hit, unable to pay back my shop loans and I even stopped the education of my son.â
Abdul Wasey Mirza, 23-year-old resident of Kala Pathar in the old city, who was injured in both the Mecca Masjid and Dilsukhnagar blasts, said, âThe arrest of Yasin Bhatkal is a bad mark on the community as well. My ill-luck followed me and I had to face two blasts. I was recovering from the Mecca Masjid incident when I fell prey to the second terror attack.
Susheel Kumarârecalled:ââMy son Ravi Kumar had just completed his MBA and was searching a job. I had great expectations from him but never knew that his life will be taken away. Unless the terrorists are hanged to death, only then justice will be done,â Activists of several political parties gathered at the blast site to pay tributes to those who lost their lives.
