We have nothing to hide on 2G: Sonia
Congress president Sonia Gandhi declared on Monday that the government had “nothing to hide, nothing to fear” on the 2G spectrum allocation issue, and firmly rejected once again the Opposition’s demand for a JPC to probe the scam.
Addressing the Congress Parliamentary Party on the last day of Parliament’s Winter Session, she said: “We cannot sacrifice institutions at the altar of political expediency.”
She said it was “abundantly clear” that the government was “determined to get to the root of the matter... It is preposterous to suggest the government has something to hide or is shying away from investigation.”
