Will Modi stand for LS from Nitish’s turf?

After launching a major campaign against Bihar’s ruling JD(U) right in chief minister and JD(U) stalwart Nitish Kumar’s home district of Nalanda, the state BJP on Sunday invited Gujarat chief minister and saffron icon Narendra Modi to contest the 2014 Lok Sabha polls from the Nalanda constituency.

“I have requested Narendra Modi to contest from Nalanda constituency, where he will certainly win by a massive margin. There is a popular wave in Modi’s favour in Nalanda and across Bihar,” said BJP national vice-president C.P. Thakur to journalists.
