Woman told to give part of pay to mother in-law
The Rajasthan high court has ordered an assistant sub-inspector of the CRPF to give half of her salary every month to former mother in-law. The court also directed Tej Kanwar to pay `50,000 as an immediate relief to her former mother in-law Bhanwar Kanwar.
The court passed the order while disposing of a petition filed by Bhanwar Kanwar who alleged that her former daughter in law got the job with the CRPF on compensatory ground. The ASI Tej Kanwar had employed with the CRPF after her husband Bhagwat Singh died in 1995.
The petitioner said Tej Kanwar re-married after she lost her son and she has no source of income as pension has been closed after her daughter in law got job with the CRPF. The court ruled that if the CRPF fails to pay half of her salary to her former mother in law, the amount will be taken from her salary by the government.
