Yeddy plans booklet on HDK scams
Karnataka chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Thursday lashed out at former chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and his father Deve Gowda and vowed to bring out a booklet detailing all the scams that took place during the tenures of Mr Kumaraswamy and Mr Deve Gowda respectively.
Mr Yeddyurappa, who was in the city amidst reports that he was summoned by the leadership to seek an explanation on the allegations of Mr Kumaraswamy, rubbished the charges against him. He said, “We will soon bring out a booklet that would contain all the scams that took place when Kumaraswamy and his father Deve Gowda were in power, respectively.”
Mr Yeddyurappa had nearly a three-hour meeting with party president Nitin Gadkari.
[Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi alleged that the trust owned by Mr Yeddyurappa’s son and family members received “enormous” donations worth `27.18 crores from sister organisations of an industrial house in a “quid pro quo” as the company owns a joint venture in the state, reports PTI
