YSRC announces help to family of NDM jawan

Nellore: The YSR Congress has appealed to the public to help the family of National Disaster Management jawan K. Vinayakan of Chittoor, who died during a helicopter crash at Uttarakhand recently.

YSRC coordinator for Nellore rural segment Kotamreddi Sridhar Reddy has stressed the need to support the family to send a message to army men that people would take care of their families if something happened to them while in action.

Lauding the efforts of the army for rescuing thousands of pilgrims stuck in Uttarakhand, he said that the society should stand behind the families of the jawans who laid down their lives during the rescue operation.

Reminding that Vinayakan hails from a very poor family, he urged the people to contribute liberally to the family. He announced Rs10,000 aid to the family of Vinayakan and assured contributions from other YSRC leaders and cadres.
