19 Pak prisoners arrive home after being freed by India
Indian authorities on Tuesday handed over 19 Pakistani prisoners, including an 80-year-old man, to authorities at the Wagah land border crossing.
The prisoners included 17 fishermen and a 10-year-old boy. They were released from different Indian jails.
After crossing over to the Pakistani side, the prisoners kissed the ground. Security personnel and workers of the NGO Edhi Foundation greeted them with flowers and sweets. They were also served a meal.
The prisoners will be handed over to their relatives after authorities verify their identity, officials said.
