26/11: Pak wants new commission
Islamabad. Aug. 28: The Pakistan interior minister, Mr Rehman Malik, on Saturday said that the government has moved an application in the court regarding formation of a judicial commission in the 2008 Mumbai attack case.
Talking to reporters here, he said the government has requested the court to name a judicial commission, which will be sent to India to record statements of the accused in the Mumbai attack case.
“I will speak to my Indian counterpart on the phone about the commission,” he added.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has sought additional information on David Headley, one of the conspirators behind 26/11, from India. Headley is presently jailed in the US.
