3 killed, 50 injured as train rams into them in Bangladesh
At least three persons were killed and over 50 injured when a train rammed into them as they gathered on the railway track to join political rally of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), reports said on Monday.
According to initial reports, three persons were crushed by the Dhaka-bound train as it reached the Mulibari area of Sirajganj district. Over 50 others were injured in the mishap.
Meanwhile, the angry people, who attended the rally of the main opposition BNP, set the train on fire forcing the passengers to come out of the train, a local journalist said.
