Air India passengers stranded at Gatwick airport
An Air India flight has been stranded at Gatwick airport for more than eight hours now after bad weather forced their plane to be diverted, the BBC has reported.
The plane - originating from Mumbai - was on its way to London's Heathrow airport when bad weather conditions cause the diversion.
Initial reports claimed the plane was waiting for fresh crew to finish the journey,
Police have also been called to prevent a 'breach of the peace', the BBC reported. The report also claimed the 'mood on the plane was becoming heated'.
There has been no message from Air India so far.
