Angry farmer sets off three car bombs in China
A farmer, venting his anger at a court ruling, set off three car bombs on Thursday morning near different government buildings in an eastern China province, injuring five people, officials said.
The explosions went off in Fuzhou city in Jiangxi province near the city's procuratorate office, the Linchuan district government building and district food and drug administration, Xinhua reported.
There was no report of any casualties. The farmer set off the first car bomb at 9.18 AM., the second at 9.29 AM. And the third at 9.45 AM, police said. At least 10 vehicles were damaged, witnesses said. Plumes of smoke rose from the three sites, weibo.Com reported citing witnesses. Windows of nearby buildings were shattered in the blasts.
