Aussie waiting for 5 years for beer from Rudd

A Sydney man has revealed that Aussie Prime Minister Kevin Rudd owes him a beer, five years after they had a late-night drinking bout in the CBD. Wine writer Nick Ryan said that the Premier is five years late buying a round of drinks — a rather un-Australian behaviour after accepting drinks from others.
Speaking in the new issue of Men’s Style magazine, Ryan said that the incident occurred in 2005. He had just had dinner with his brother-in-law, who then worked in the Canberra press gallery. They and a few friends were walking down Goulburn St. near the corner of Pitt when they bumped into Mr Rudd, who was then the foreign affairs spokesman.
The group decided to pop over to the Civic Hotel for a nightcap.
Ryan stumped up for the first shout only to learn to his distress that Mr Rudd wanted a Corona — a Mexican beer that had not been consumed by a real man since 1995.

Omar wants to name daughter after UK Queen
London : The world’s most wanted terrorist, Osama Bin Laden’s son Omar has said that if a daughter is born to him he will name her Elizabeth after the Queen.
Omar Bin Laden, 29, and his wife Zaina, 54, who is a former parish councillor from Moulton in Cheshire, and changed her name from Jane Felix Browne, are using a young surrogate mum from Bristol to have a baby.
Zaina went on to reveal that she and Omar are determined to have a baby, and that if it is a boy they will name him William, after William Wallace.
“I will have a child. I’m the driving force behind this but Omar is right behind me. Whatever stress I’m going through, it’s worth it,” the Sun quoted Zaina as saying. “I like Ruby for a girl’s name but Omar likes Elizabeth, after the Queen. He also likes William for a boy, after William Wallace.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
