Brit mum gives birth to rare 'tridentical tots'
A couple in UK has given birth to identical triplets whose birth has defied odds of 200 million to one.
According to the statistics, the odds of triplets from a natural pregnancy are 4,000 to one, while an identical set is almost unheard of.
Thomas, Edward and Harry Chalwin were delivered by Caesarian section at 34 weeks in April, the Sun reported.
The triplets' mother Claire, who is a former nurse, has revealed that the couple was desperate for a sibling for three-year-old son William after a devastating miscarriage last June.
And now, she admits being blessed by bringing up three identical tots with hubby Paul.
The 33-year-old also revealed that she had to paint their fingernails to tell them apart.
"Now I have no problem telling them apart?" but it was difficult in the early stages which is why I came up with the colour coding idea. I'd apply it once a week to ensure we always knew which was which," she said.
"They are a wonderful gift, I love them all and I am blessed," she added.
