Clashes break out in court after Mubarak sentence
Clashes broke out in an Egyptian court on Saturday after a judge sentenced former president Hosni Mubarak to life in prison after convicting him of involvement in the murder of protesters.
Outside the courtroom, supporters and opponents of the ousted strongman yelled ‘void, void’ and ‘The people want the judiciary purged’ following the verdict by Chief Judge Ahmed Rifaat.
