Biggest burst of energy from the Sun in four years heading straight for us at 900 Km/second.

The mightiest solar flare in four is all set to blast Earth late tonight.

The Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) was emitted by the Sun on Monday and now, traveling at about 900 Km/second, will reach Earth atmosphere as a Class X2.2 flare, the most severe.

This flare will have noticeable effects on our planet's communications and could even knock out GPS devices.
