Medvedev's dancing video a huge hit on the web

A video showing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev dancing to the song 'American Boy' by local pop group Kombinatsia has become a rage on the internet.

The video was added on Youtube April 19.

"We are rocking at a student university reunion. The dances, the music - they fit in with the past," the president wrote on his Twitter account Wednesday.

One of the president's followers on the website wrote that the video had lifted her spirits. Some have, however, called the video "stupid".

Over 6,400 people have seen the video so far and more than 300 commented on it.
