More quakes on the way
Tokyo: More earthquakes measuring over 7.0 on the Richter scale could occur in and around Japan within a month, authorities said Friday.
The National Meteorological Administration made the forecast after a massive earthquake hit the northeast of Japan Friday, Kyodo news agency said.
At least 18 people were killed and over 100 injured in the massive 8.9-magnitude quake that struck about 373 km from the capital Tokyo and sparked a tsunami.
