Mush named in Benazir killing case

Islamabad, Feb. 7: Over three years after her assassination, the Pakistani authorities on Monday formally included the name of the former military ruler, Mr Pervez Musharraf, among the accused in Benazir Bhutto’s murder case, officials said.

“The FIA has added the name of Pervez Musharraf to the list of accused in the Benazir Bhutto murder case after a statement given by former city police officer Saud Aziz,” an official said. Mr Aziz claimed that the order to change Bhutto’s security in-charge had been given by Mr Musharraf. He also said that the scene of the assassination was washed on Mr Musharraf’s directives.
